Volleyball Drill Demonstration


In groups of 2, partners bump pass back and forth to each other, alternating between a high and low contact.  Demonstration will initiate the drill to ensure athletes know the different ways to initiate the contact.


10 low contacts > 10 high contacts > 10 alternating low / high contacts.

Coaching points

Low contact: knees must bend with legs well spaced apart, hips should drop then rise on contact.  High contact: shoulder should start low and then finish high, with less movement in hips.
