DESCRIPTION

  • Have 3 players line up on one side of the court. 1 player at position 4 and a setter at position 2.
  • On the other side have 2-3 players, each with a ball, ready to serve.
  • Coach stands at position 2 on serving side.

 

  1. Yellow players take turns serving. When a player serves, the player runs forward and digs a smash from Coach.
  2. The receiving side, Blue, receives the ball up to the setter who sets to the outside hitter (pos 4).
  3. After every serve rotation (in this example, 2 serves) the Blue side rotates one position.

COACHING POINTS

After 2 minutes get 2 new servers (or amount equal).

If you have more than 1 setter at practice, rotate them as well.
