This drill works on both defense and attack in one. And in doing so allows a player to learn the patterns of turning defense into attack.
1. The coach will feed one shot deep into the right-handlers backhand, which should be hit back deep crosscourt.
2. An 2nd shot will be fed short to the right-handera forehand, that should be hit down the line.
3. This drill can be changed around by feeding the first ball deep to the right-handers forehand and the 2nd ball fed Short to the right-handers backhand.
