The champions only returns the service. The challenger must serve well to start the point. If the champion loses the point, the challenger becomes the champion and moves to the other side of the court.
The challenger should aim the serve to the backhand or weaker side of the champion. After serving the challenger should move closer to the middle to start the point and aim for the backhand side.
