Attackers line up in two lines on the 25 with two defenders, one either side of the line of cones.
Each defender is defending 3 gates, with the aim of channelling the forward away from the first two gates and towards the corner. The final gate between the T and last cone should be the worst outcome for the defender.
When channelling on the right hand side, the defender should follow alongside the attacker staying by their hip - preventing the forward from turning inside the defender on to their strong side.
When on the left hand side, the defender should be slightly further forward in the attackers stance, so to prevent the attacker cutting across the defenders stance and staying on their strong side. It is okay for them to drag the ball back inside, as they will be taking it on to their reverse.
At all times, it is important to protect your feet and avoid diving in.
