what is the best food supplement for field hockey player that fulfill the body requirement essential for match.
Some players like to take supplements such as an energy drink or snack bar before a game but most of the time in my experience the effects of such products are purely psychosomatic (all in the player's head). If the player believes it helps their performance then by all means let them take it but really the most important thing for players is to make sure they eat a healthy and balanced diet.
There is such a thing as carb-loading but this is mostly for long distance events. Players who do this will eat plenty of carbohydrates the night before their race (bread, potatoes, pasta, oats, rice etc.) so that they have lots of slow burning energy (glycogen) to call upon during their event.
But, as I said before most players needn't worry about supplementing their diet, as long as they eat plenty of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and calcium rich foods their body will already have everything they need.
