what are good penalty corner plays?
if you want to score a goal you must try a flick on goal and flick should be very powerfull and if you cant flick that try a simple hit in the dirtection on goal and some one other player to make a cross if want to defead then should try 3-1 case or 2-1 case but very less chance to save a score in penlty coner
We run 6 routines, and have a fairly high success rate. The secret is to watch how the defence run out on the first penalty corner, and then select the best routines to score against that. 1) Straight strike from the top of the D. 2) Straight strike from the stopper at the top. 3) Right slip for a pass back to the flick spot or a shot. 4) Pass back to the injector (which works most times as long as the defender doesn't come off the post. 5) Slip left for a strike. 6) A pass across goal towards the right post for a forward who is running in.
I run the slip to injector pc wth my junior teams, mainly because at 10-12 they are not competant enough to hit until later in the season and for the most part, especially first up, teams expect a straight shot. We often change tactics at half time to maybe a layoff, or it will go from the injector to the spot.
depends on level, age, underground and defense tactics (3-1 outrun or 2-2) at the highest level, teams often rely on a powerful dragflick. At the lowest level a straight shot on goal is already a victory ;-) We have a quite good rate alternating a 1-2 pass routine (to eliminate the first runner) and a right side tip-in routine to surprise the player on the goalline
