Get your players to improve their footwork by using ladders; exercises like the grapevine are perfect, for strength and balance get them to work with the medicine ball and hip rotations, throwing the ball against a wall is good(remember to work both sides of the body).
When teaching others to drag flick I've found the best results come from allowing them to watch themselves. If you are able to video tape them, focusing mostly on their footwork, they will be able to see what works best for them. The best drag flickers have exceptional footwork.
