For younger players you should try to avoid stress. Use some fun warm up drills which get your players passing the ball between themselves and then move onto some possession drills. This will subconsciously prepare your players for the game. For older players you should discuss tactics and formation in greater detail, asking your players to work together as a team as well as using a number of warm up drills which will mentally and physically prepare your players for the game.
