What can I use for drills to get my wings to score a goal? They constantly miss the ball. Ann
I currently coach an under 11's team and my little wings don't miss a thing. I don't exactly have a drill for them at all. It may be a good idea to ask them to come with you to watch another team playing to you can show visual example of what they are ment to be donig. Another way is to have some one on one with them by you hitting balls from the top of the circle in to them on the post and have them running in for the deflection. After they mastered this I had them running onto the ball in all area's of there postion. Its a lengthy process. I hope this helped. Stephh %3A)
Stephanie exercise is amazing its make help wingers to start scoring a simple goals. use your wingers on second post there are two advantages of that no 1%3A if the left winger get a chance to shoot in the goal then right winger cover the right post 2%3A covering the post is a threat to goal keeper from the shooter in this situation goal keeper get confused to cover a right post or left post and attacker can take a advantage of this. Repeation of stephanie drill will make a set piece. Cheers
