What are good practices to get players to hit a flat ball, instead of bobbling around
my name is Lance Grobler from South Africa, i have been coaching hockey at different levels for the last 12 years and have found that in order to keep the ball down, especially on grass one need to create a feelling of keeping the stick low to the ground after impact for as long as possible. (running the stick on the deck)if the stick comes up to quickly, the right side wrist is over working and not the forearms. hope this helps
