This question is specific to juniors. I feel strongly that the basics such as hitting cleanly and accurately should be concentrated upon but I am anxious that repeated practice can make this dull. Do you have fun sessions to ensure the basics are practiced but a sense of competition and fun is retained?

I always find that using hitting games and hitting relays are good fun for the younger kids, making sure they concentrate on hitting to their partner / team mate. And for the receivers trapping the ball is very important

Dear Mike

I have attached 1 practice and a game for you try and see if it helps you to motivate the players to hit longer before getting bored.

Kind regards

Bram
