This is a question about channeling. Should a left side defender channel the Left Inside or Left Outside player to the center of the field or channel her down the sideline?

I would say only if the player has cover (sweeper or cover defender). In the case of being caught in a 1 v 1 situation always try to force the player with the ball to slow down and away from the goal. Hope this helps Bram
