I am pulling together a team of adult players who have not played together before and are meeting each other for the first time at the first game. Do you have any suggestions how to do this so that they can work as a team and be competitive?
Hi Jenny,
You`ve got quite a tough task on your hands, as you would preferably like time for your players to gel together. However, there are a few things that will help.
Outline from the start the formation that you will be playing, how you want your team to press, and the general style of play you wish to achieve. If every player understands these 3 points and successfully plays to the above then they should be able to compete together.
Let me know your thoughts,
Josh
