What drill I wanna give my players for push pass under pressure?
Hi there,
This drill below is perfect for putting your players under pressure when passing. The most important aspect that you must focus on is firstly their awareness before they receive the ball. They need to be pre-scanning and aware of where their teammates are to be able to make the next pass.
The next stage is their first touch to take it away from the defender and open up the play to make the next pass.
Initially, have the defenders being quite passive so that your players get comfortable with receiving and passing under a little bit of pressure. Then as they progress, the defenders can become more active and put more pressure on them to really test their push pass.
I hope this helps!
