Hi. I have a group of juniors between 7 and 12 years. How can I teach them the art of spreading the ball wide to the wings? They keep sending it back into the bunched up mess of sticks and feet!
Hi,
You could make a game where it is not alowed to pass the ball back where it came from, so they have to find a nother solution, or make the field bigger, so they have more space to play.
you can also think of some drills to make where transition from left to right and vs is involved
Hi make the goal posts in all corners of the field ie four goal posts two for each team to score in. no posts in the middle
I have added a diagram of two small sided games that encourage the players to pass the ball wide and learn to change the point of attack.
I hope it helps
