I am looking for a more complicated drill but for around 4 players. Needs to involve hitting in the circle and shooting on goal. Maybe looking for shooting under pressure like a defender or something?
Here's my personal favourite - it's good too as it can easily be tweaked to make it easier/harder by moving the defender's cones further/closer to the square on the edge of the circle.
Hi Alix,
Have you a GK?
If so play 2 v 2 in the circle. Players must make one (two, three) pass(es) inside the circle prior to a shot.
This is great to develop understanding, awareness of your team mates position. shooting under pressure.
Just make sure they are safe and concentrate otherwise on a change in possession they will be day dreaming as a shot is made and be between ball and goal.
One important rule. A Penalty Corner means in this game a penalty Stroke (take them at the end of each 5 minute match). This makes the defenders defend properly and not just break the play.
