Converting turn over ball into successfull attack

Converting turn over ball into successfull attack

I am coaching an u16A team and recently got them using a 3/4 press which is working well to turn over ball. however their counter attack from this situation is poor - does anyone know any drills or game situation drills to improve on this. thanks

Decide and work on where (which area) you want the goal to be scored from in the circle having done this it will help the players look for the situation. However the solution may be even simpler your team may be winning the ball to close to the oppositions goal and therefore there is no space to explore at speed so you can experiment with winning the ball further away from the goal. A good place is 1/2 way between the 23 and half way line. Good luck Bram
