I sometimes worry my drills are too difficult for my players and I worry that they become discouraged and not want to come back again. What drills are appropriate for certain age groups?
It`s not always to do with age, it`s the level of skill of your player. I do practices with my U12s team that some first teams would struggle with.
So the drills depend on ability; if the drills are too hard then it`s because of the player`s ability/skill level.
This is a very, very broad rule because there tends to be more skill training with kids up to 12-13-years-old and then move on to game based sessions.
