DESCRIPTION

  • Groups of 3. 

- 2 players get into a strong T.O.P position.

- Another player starts to to standing press ups on to the heads of the 2 players. 

- This encoruages neck and core strenth essential for a safe scrum. 

COACHING POINTS

Tower of Power 

Feet 

  • Shoulder width - weight forward 
  • On toes. 

Knees 

  • 90 degrees 

Core 

  • Imaine someone pullling string through your belly button.
  • squeeze in an ddown. 

Hips 

  • Peliv tilited outwards. 
  • Hips backwards 
  • Like sitting down.

Elbows 

  • Tight to body
  • T rex arms 

Scaps 

  • Back and together
  • Holding pencil between the scaps. 

Chest 

  • Up and out 

Head 

  • Neautral 
  • Look through eyebrows.
