DESCRIPTION

"Out the back door" passing with a spin element

Pairs work on one handed passing underneath the arm. Players stand opposite each other about 3-4m away. One player will take a few steps forward, then pass back and sideways to their partner.

COACHING POINTS

Offload passing with length.

  • Rotate the wrist quickly outwards to put spin on the ball
  • Follow the hand and arm up and towards the receiver to get accuracy
