Rugby Drill Demonstration
|
Description
- Players work in groups of three, each starting with a ball.
- They move the ball around the circle making one handed offloads to eachother
Progression
- Players stand further apart
Coaching points
Players should keep both hands in a catch ready position. Like in a game how they should always be expecting the ball.
When standing close together players should just lift the ball up softly, making it easy for their team mate.
When standing further apart players need to really push the pass. Not swinging the ball too much otherwise it risks the going in any direction.
Players should always keep their eyes on the ball or where they are passing to.
