Contact Defence
The aim of the drill is to encourage the tackler to challenge for the space over the ball after the tackle.
Coaching points
- The emphasis of the tackler is to stay in a low strong profile and drive the shield man out of the way
- The Shield man should allow enough resistance for the tackler to move him.
