4v4 Endzone Game | Conditioned Games

4v4 Endzone Game:

Set-up the pitch as shown. Place one player from each side in the opposite End Zone.

Players have to try and get the ball to the player in the End Zone for them to then score a goal. Only the designated players are allowed in the End Zone.

Pass and switch positions | Passing & Receiving

Pass and switch positions:

The player without the ball (player 2) runs towards the opposite cone and communicates to their partner that they are ready to receive the ball.

After making the straight pass player 1 runs to the opposite cone to receive a square pass from player 2.

Player 2 must adjust their body and footwork in order to receive the ball.

Kabadi | Possession

Kabadi:

  • Set up with two teams, each team having their own area in which they keep possession by passing the ball around.
  • The other team can send one player across to try and win the ball for their side. If they manage to win possession the roles reverse and the other team passes the ball inside their own area.
  • The winning team is the first team to put 10 passes together without losing the ball.

    Dribble Pass and Move:

  • Setup the practice as shown.
  • Split the group into two.

    • Player 1 dribbles up to the cone before passing the ball across to player 2. Players have to make sure that they give a pass in each box.
