Volleyball: Introduction and Setting

DESCRIPTION

Learn how to set up the nets. Set to partner ensuring that hands are shaped around the ball, shoulders are pointing to the target, knees and arms push upwards simultaneously. Partner catches the ball and repeats process. Activity lasts for 2 minutes. Set the ball to partner and partner sets back but catching the ball to demonstrate technique. Activity lasts for 2 minutes. Set back and forth letting the go of the ball as if it is a hot potato. Activity lasts for 2 minutes. Mini Setting game against partner. Activity lasts for 3 minutes. Left side moves up a court. Mini Setting game against partner. Activity lasts for 3 minutes. Pack up nets and poles. Walk up to Middle School and dismiss for Break.
