The players try to make an open serve. If they hit the 1st or 2nd serve, they play the point to the end against the player on the other side of the court (in a cross-court format) and if they miss either the 2nd serve, they swap with a partner who is outside their side. When one of the players wins (serve players) 3 points, they swap positions with the person they won their 3rd point from.
