There are two teams of 4-5 players each. Each team has a pile of 10 balls on their side, and one mutual basket of balls in the middle. One player from each team will come up and hit a serve. If they make it, they get to take a ball from their pile and give it to the next person in line. If they miss, get a ball from the middle basket and the next person serves. Repeat this until one team has made all 10 balls.

A tiebreak is a short sprint where every point is worth the same as a break of serve. The players who win them are rarely the ones who hit hardest. Here is how to coach the patterns, habits and scoreboard thinking that win the big points.
Most club players practise the serve on its own and then have no idea what to do with the ball that comes back. Serve plus one is the pattern that turns a good serve into a won point.
