
Round 1 - 3 players but only the solo player has a racket. The other two players are throwing and catching the ball. The drill is timed for 3 minutes and there is only 1 ball per court. The court with the highest score of volleys and catches wins. Round 2 - the players rotate positions so that a different player is solo with the racket. Round 3 - last rotation of players.
Co-operative control of the ball. Working on footwork. Practicing keeping the catching hand up and in front, which is good technique for a volley.
