Ball Handler (Blue) dribble drives hard toward Red, signifying that a cut to the basket is required when arriving and performing one hard dribble (that's the signal that the cut to the basket by Red must be made) Movement Options: 1. Red cuts to the basket looking for the pass from Blue, goes in for the score if pass arrives or passes to Grey as the Safety Valve in the corner if Help D arrives (performs backward pivot on inside foot) 2. If pass does not arrive Red clears to opposite corner 3. Blue maintains control after bouncing Red and looks for opportunity to drive to the basket - if drive is possible goes in to score or uses Grey as safety valve in the corner (performing backward pivot on inside foot to allow for the pass) 4. If Blue cannot drive, looks to pass back to the top of the key to player filling that spot (or in this case to Red who is curling along the read line after clearing to the corner)
