Thank you very much for the marvellous site.
Nick, Tennis coach

DESCRIPTION

Level 2.0

Teams: 2 Teams (Blue Team and Yellow Team)

Objective:

To build consistency under pressure and strengthen teamwork.

Setup:

  • Each team has one designated Pressure Player who can earn two points for each point they win, while other players earn one point per win.
  • The Coach feeds the ball in to start each point, allowing players to focus on rallying and positioning.

Instructions:

  1. Starting the Game:
  • Coach Feed: The coach feeds the ball to initiate the point.
  • Middle-Middle-Out Pattern: Play starts with both teams hitting down the middle. Once they’ve played one shot down the middle, they are free to hit anywhere on the court to finish the point.
  1. Scoring:
  • Pressure Player: If the Pressure Player wins a point, they earn two points for their team.
  • Regular Player: Other players in the team earn one point for each point won.
  1. Winning and Rotating:
  • On a Win: The winning player stays on the court for one more point.
  • Two Consecutive Wins: After two consecutive wins, the player rotates to the “out” position on their own side.
  • On a Loss: The player who loses the point rotates to the “out” position on their side.
  1. Rotation and Continuity:
  • Players rotate within their team each time they lose a point, ensuring all players remain active and engaged.
