DESCRIPTION

level 3.0

Teams: 2 Teams (Blue Team and Yellow Team)

Objective:

Build consistency under pressure, enhance teamwork, and improve mental resilience.

Setup:

  • Each team has one designated Pressure Player responsible for earning extra points for the team while playing under increased pressure.

Instructions:

  1. Starting the Game:
  • self-feed: Players begin the point without coach assistance, taking full responsibility for starting and keeping the rally going.
  • Middle-Middle Out Pattern: Both teams start by playing a few shots down the middle to establish control, then transition to full-court play.
  1. Scoring:
  • Pressure Player: If the Pressure Player wins a point, they earn two points for their team.
  • Double-or-Nothing Scoring Pressure: Now, the Pressure Player earns three points per won point. If they lose, the team loses two points. This requires the Pressure Player to be both strategic and consistent.
  • Regular Player: Other team members earn one point for each point won.
  1. Winning and Rotating:
  • On a Win: The winning player stays on the court for one more point.
  • Two Consecutive Wins: rotates to the “out” position on their side after winning two consecutive points.
  • On a Loss: The player who loses the point rotates to the “out” position on their side.
  1. Rotation and Continuity:
  • Players rotate within their team after each point lost, ensuring everyone remains active and engaged.
