I am going to coach a new team, most of them are beginer-intermediate and we only have 1 hour of training in the hall, what's the best pland for warm up, drill and still have time for to have fun in a game.
hi
i coach netball, but the basics to most training sessions are about the same. about 15mins for a warm up, and basic strength and fitness work (lots of running, dynamic movements, jumping, short sprints, pushups, situps...whatever you can think of. a circuit normally runs best so no one is sitting around, and you can get a lot of different activities done in a short amount of time.)
20 mins of skill work. so all your drills, sets, plays, serving, whatever you find the team needs to work on.
20 min game, where you can stop and start to correct technique, or try players in different positions.
5 min cool down and stretch.
hope that helps.
