What’s in this Session?
Warm up your players, making sure they are raring to go, before we start working on the different type of shots from the off. Work on your player’s topspin and alternate with the forehand slice, encouraging your player to respond well to each one. We then mix it up further by working on their drop shot and the lob, before then finishing off with the backhand slice - so your players can recover from the opposition attempting to lob them.
Give your players a helping hand on court, by handing them a whole arsenal of shots to work with!
Develop balance and early footwork to maintain control of the body and racket head when hitting to all parts of the court.
To improve control over the sliced, backspin shot from the forehand side.
