Tennis: Volley Run

Stations are set. The player takes position and the coach feeds the ball to the backhand side. The player hits backhand volley cross-court. If the player makes the ball into the zone he can move to the next station, and if they don't, they have to try again.

The coach stands in the ad corner and the player stands at the net on the ad side. The coach and player rally together. The coach hits 2 balls to the ad side, 2 balls to the centre, and 2 balls to the deuce side. The player hits all the volleys back deep to the coach.

Players position themselves on the doubles aley in line with service line and alternate FHV and BHV

Drill is continuous. Drill takes place witin the service box on each side of the net. Coach feeds the ball, player returns short forehand, a rally then continues with the player alternating between a short forehand and volley. Coach to make use of all the service box.

Player starts from the service line. Coach feeds 3 balls alternating the sides. Player hits a forehand volley, backhand volley and forehand volley moving forward after every shot. All the balls are placed to the ad side.

Coach volleys the ball left then right. Players have one volley each. So one player hits a backhand volley and the next player hits a forehand volley.

Players line up on secure line and hits 1st Forehand volley to 1, player then continues forward to 2nd volley for a backahnd volley down the line.

Player stands on the service line. Coach feeds balls to the ad side. Player hits a deep backhand volley down the line, a deep backhand volley cross-court, a short backhand volley down the line and a short backhand volley cross-court.

Player A stands close to the net, whilst Player B stands closer to the side line. Player A works on angle volleys while rallying with the partner and Player B hits only drives after the bounce.

Players start off on baseline moves into no mans land for approach shot then move up to hit a 1st volley and finish with a 2nd volley.

Players line up on service line and hit 1st backhand volley to 3, then continues forward to 2nd volley which is forehand down the line.

Coach feeds easy ball around the service line. Player attacks using forehand and moves forward to the net. Player should stay on the same side where he hit the last ball too.

Both players start at service line. Red 1 has to hit a ground stroke and then approach the net and play a volley back to Blue 1 and then return to service line. Repeat 6-10 shots then stop for Blue 1 to continue drill.

Players start iff in no mans land. Players approach the backhand, gets into the first volley position (Backhand), then changes to forehand for second volley down the open court

Players mve towards the net from the centre to hit a short fed high ball down the line.
