DESCRIPTION

The player and coach use 2 balls at the same time. The coach throws one ball and moves to the other spot. The player's goal is to catch the ball, quickly throw it back to coach and run to the next one.

COACHING POINTS

In this drill, the player works on specific movement needed to play effectively on clay court. By being under time pressure player has to quickly run to the ball and slide to be able to maintain the tempo of this exercise. The coach can vary the speed and placement of the balls to match player's fitness level.
