DESCRIPTION

- Performing the squeeze shot

- Good for getting a quick shot away in tight spaces

COACHING POINTS

- Double 'V' grip.

- Ball behind back foot.

- Shoulders pointing at the target

- Keep arms and stick in the same plane.

-Hit down hard on the top/back of the ball.

Video Techniques

Sweep Hit:

The sweep is a variation from the hit pass.

The grip and stance are the same the ball is placed in line with the front foot.

The stick is drawn back a short way and swept forwards along the ground to strike the ball.

Video Techniques

Aerial Launch:

- Performing the aerial pass in pairs
- Stand around half a stick length away from the ball
- Step into the movement with left foot in line with the ball
- Keep head still and over the ball
- The head of the stick should come underneath the ball, using a pushing motion at a 45 degree angle
- Hand position should be similar to an upright push pass

Video Techniques

Stick stop Handle push:

The ball is stopped with the stick rolled into the circle for it then to be passed across the top of the Circle with the handle of the stick by the stopper, just before or after the dummy hit by the striker.
