Objetcive: To understand the requirments of the player when dribbling with the ball down the left side of the field.
Purpose: The position of the ball and technique when dribbling will alter where the next pass or tackle is going to come from. Carry in the correct position to give as many options for the pass and to send a clear message to the rest of the team, Eg. wingers/forwards leads.

Coaching points
- When running on the left, most passes are to the right.
- The ball carrying position must be at 3 o'clock, outside the right foot.
- The position allows the player to be able to pass or to be able to drag to the left to eliminate.
- Run with lower center of gravity to keep eyes up, scanning the field for passing opportunities.
