DESCRIPTION

This is still part of our warmup that will focus on forearm pass platform management while working in some competition.

  1. Divide team into groups of 2
  2. Have groups face off on a small sided court (using the attack lines as the end line)
  3. Players may only use their platform when contacting the ball
  4. Competition - Have teams keep score and play to a predetermined point or for time

COACHING POINTS

Focus

  • Creating the correct platform angle
  • Ball placement and ball movement to find ways to score

Variations

  • Create a "ladder: in your gym so that each game the winning team moves up and the losing team moves down
