Players will rally with each other looking to make themselves consistent and focused for a long time. After rallying on the add side and deuce side twice each on the 4th rally they may play the point out once the player changing directions goes down the line for the last time.
The player changing direction needs to understand they need to position themself well when changing directions looking for lots of margin and accuracy. The player going crosscourt needs to focus on playing deep with heavy spin to make the other player uncomfortable. This drill can and should also be done 3x crosscourt and 1 down the line.
