DESCRIPTION

DRILL TYPE: Warm-Ups

EQUIPMENT:

  1. (4) Colored Cones

SETUP:

  1. Place the four cones around the outside corners of the court on the baseline and singles sideline.

MISSION:

  1. Divide your players into two lines and line up in a relay formation behind the doubles sideline facing the opposite doubles sideline.
  2. Players will perform warmup exercises down to the doubles sideline and back to the doubles sideline.

The warmup exercises task:

  1. Jogging with arm circles.
  2. Sides shuffling with arm circles.
  3. Carioca
  4. Knee hug with a lunge.
  5. Skipping

COACHING POINTS

  1. Make sure they keep their balance.
  2. Make sure they don’t rush.
