Player 1 start with the ball and will through the ball at the back board and then jump up for the rebound. Once he has secured the rebound player 2 will cut to the corner for the outlet pass. players 3 and 4 will then sprint to the corners at the other end making sure they fill ball side corner first. (prefferably a gaurd). Player 2 will then dribble the ball up the court to the gaurd spot. PLayer one will then be a trailer down andfill the other gaurd spot.
Teach the boys the transition offense we are planning to run throughout the season. However due to some kids having rather raw skills may have to break it down and do slower than otherwise would have. Make sure to keep on them about doing correctly and give advice.
