A cone is placed on the baseline.

The player performs regular serve, where the goal is for them to jump over the cone while serving.

COACHING POINTS

In this drill player works on their explosive leg power.

Jumping over the cone is a good way to improve legs action while serving. Adding 10-20 centimetres to the height of the body can result in more aces and unreturned serves.
