DRILL TYPE: Athletic Skills FOCUS: Reaction Skills EQUIPMENT: (12) Cones ( 6 orange, 2 yellow) (12) Orange Balls SETUP: Place the cones on the singles sideline and place an orange ball on top of the cone. MISSION: Divide your players into two partners. Have players stand across from a partner with a cone and ball directly in between them. The players put their hands on the head, shoulders or knees when they are called. If they hear ball, they need to be the first one to grab the ball.
Tell the players to listen. Not to grab the ball up tell the hear the command to grab the ball. Player that grabs the cone before the command to do so is out.
