The court area is only the service boxes (shown in black area). One team will start by "serving", where they will place the ball on the net, tap the net with their racquet and let the ball fall over to the other side. Then they play the point out, with the only rule being that their are no slams. If this becomes an issue, force the ball to have to bounce once before it can be hit.
