Don't until its not your weak hand anymore; use your strong hand from crossover while lowering your shoulder. To improve your weak hand always dribble twice as much as your strong hand when doing drills. You can practice dribbling while wearing garden gloves, dribble with a power ball, standard dribbling drills, finger dribbling, bleacher dribbling, etc, to improve your weak hand.
