Should the ball touch my palm when dribbling?

When i crossover or dribble sometimes my palm touches the ball? i was taught to never let the ball touch your palm and to use your fingerpads is this normal?

yes sometimes its okay that it does but dont develop that habbit of doing it all the time

No never, ball should be contacted with the fingertips, especially at HS level
