Hi there, I am looking for some advice on centre basketball drills that will help me improve, also, has anyone got any idea's to help me become ambidextrous with my dribbling.
Hi Vlad,
The best way to find drills on Sportplan I have found is to use the search bar to get the most relevant drills for exactly what you want to get better at. They are ordered to give you the most relevant and top-rated stuff first.
There is no real secret to becoming more ambidextrous. It is all about practice, this can be with everyday activities such as computer typing or brushing your teeth. Or just dribbling the basketball with your weak hand, try tying your weak hand behind your back at training.
Hope this helps!
Hi Vlad,
Here's a session plan Sportplan have created which focusses on improving the knowledge, understanding and game skills required to play within the centre position.
Hope this helps.

A ready-to-run Halloween session for junior basketball: zombie tag, ball control, a ghost rondo and a pumpkin patch shooting game.
Four players standing still make every ball handler's job harder. Teach V-cuts, L-cuts and back cuts so your team gets open and punishes defenders who overplay.
Good team defence is five players guarding the ball, not five separate one-on-ones. The shell drill is where that starts, so here is how to teach help-side positioning and rotations from the first week of the season.
