DESCRIPTION

In pairs, one player rolls the ball out along the floor.

  1. Once the ball has been released, the partner has to run past the ball,
  2. Wait for the ball to approach them
  3. Then squat and sit on the ball without using their hands for balance or trapping the ball in between their legs.

COACHING POINTS

Ensure the players run past the ball and the ball approaches them. This mimics the game as player should always be behind the ball and facing the target where they want the ball to go.

Timing is also crucial and teachers players special awareness and control of muscle movements.
