Volleyball: 4v4 circulation (1)

The drill starts with a player from each side serving a ball. They then go and sit down where their serve landed - assuming it went in (if not they join the back of the line and will have to serve again in a minute). The rest of the players then start serving, trying to serve to their teammate on the other side of the net. If successful and their team-mate catches the ball, they go join them. The drill ends when one team has all of their players reach the other side.

Players work in pairs with one ball. Players play within a section of court and are attempting to get the ball to bounce twice to win a point. Players can catch the ball in one hand to the side of them, moving up and down with the motion of the ball as they catch and release the ball.

3 balls in play, teams of 4 in each half of the court. Each court has 1 ball which they must pass around constantly, with all players participating. At the same time, each team attempts to pass another ball back and forth between the teams, with the aim of getting the ball to land on the opposition's side of the court.

A game of 3v3. After each crossing of the net by the ball, players rotate one place around a position on court, increasing the mental concentration needed by the players to adapt to the different roles on court in each position

All formats of volleyball (2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 6v6) can be played with similar rules while sitting on the floor and by playing sitting volleyball.

Simple 4v4 game with a referee using normal rules.

Play a simple 4v4 game using normal rules, but without the game being refereed. Players will have to make decisions for themselves and be fair, so it is important that players know the rules of the game well.

Introduction of basic tactics; throwing the ball into space on the designated court, catch in a volley position in front and above the forehead and throw from a volley position in front and above the forehead. You can't move with the ball and must face the net at all times.

A game of 4v4, played in basic or advanced style. When a team wins the right to serve and the team rotates, a player (usually in the front right of the court) comes off and is replaced by a substitute who comes on to serve. When the team wins the right to serve again, the same process occurs with the next player in the front right position.
