To get your players making smart runs we look at running techniques including the V cut, the fake and the cut back. After using this training your players will have an impressive array of running moves under their belts which they can use to lose their marker.
You can use this session with groups large and small, to get players of all abilities making runs to support the player on the ball and open up space.
By using a change of pace and direction your players will be able to leave their defender rooted to the ground when they make their run and create a clear-cut shooting opportunity.
